Prior notification of works in the Canary Islands
We prepare the technical documentation needed to process works that may be carried out through comunicación previa (prior notification), checking beforehand which procedure applies according to the type of work and the applicable municipal regulations.

[01]
When you need this service
- You want to renovate and don't know whether you need a licence or a prior notification is enough.
- The town hall has told you your works can be processed by prior notification.
- You are going to carry out minor works and want to submit the documentation correctly from the start.
[02]
What problem it solves
Not every small work qualifies for prior notification and not every renovation requires a licence: the classification depends on the type of work and on each town hall's ordinance. Checking it beforehand avoids filing the wrong procedure, with its delays and possible consequences.
[03]
What's included
- Check of the procedure applicable to the works according to the municipal regulations.
- Technical documentation of the works: report, plans and measurement, as the case requires.
- Preparation and submission of the prior notification.
- Works budget when the procedure requires it.
[04]
What we need to assess your case
- A description of the works you want to carry out.
- Cadastral reference and property details.
- Existing plans or documentation, if any.
[05]
What you will receive
- The technical documentation of the works.
- The prior notification submitted to the town hall.
- Confirmation of the procedure applicable to your case.
Want to know how much it would cost in your case?
The price depends on the characteristics of the plot and the work required. Send us the cadastral reference or the location and we can make an initial assessment.
